After growing up in Australia I have spent the majority of the past ten years abroad. This time has included working in the UK, traveling throughout Europe, Central and South America and Asia, and a year studying abroad before moving to the US in 2006. While at college in LA in 2002 I met Jennifer and embarked upon a long-distance relationship. Thus far we have spent seven of our ten years together in separate cities or countries (perhaps the secret to our success?) ~ relying on emails and phone calls to stay close. The past five years have been dedicated to a PhD in health psychology at Notre Dame, a move that took us to the Midwest and a new part of the country to explore. In 2009 Jennifer moved to Portland to pursue her own graduate studies as a Physician Assistant. We are now finally living together in New York City....the adventure continues.
